When you talk about your routine, you describe things you do regularly—like waking up, eating, working, or relaxing. At A2 level, you use the simple present tense because routines are habits or repeated actions. Time words like every day, at 7 a.m., on weekends help make your routine clear.
Use the **base verb** for I, you, we, they:
✅ I wake up at 7 a.m.
✅ They go to school.
Use **verb + -s/-es** for he, she, it:
✅ She works in an office.
✅ He brushes his teeth.
⚠️ For negatives and questions, use do/does:
✅ Do you eat breakfast?
✅ She doesn’t watch TV.
✅ “I usually drink coffee in the morning.”
✅ “She exercises every day at 6 p.m.”
“I wake up at 7 a.m. I have breakfast at 7:30. I go to work at 8:30. I eat lunch at 1 p.m. I finish work at 5 p.m. I cook dinner in the evening. I go to bed at 10 p.m.”
🔑 Notice: all verbs are in **simple present**, and **time phrases** tell **when**.
correct “She works every day.”
incorrect “She work every day.” — missing -s for "she"
