Tom works in a small office. Every day, he brings a sandwich for lunch. But Tom has a problem: Whiskers, the office cat!
Whiskers is not a normal cat. He does not sleep. He does not play with toys. Whiskers only does one thing: steal sandwiches!
On Monday, Tom opens his lunchbox. His sandwich is gone!
On Tuesday, Tom hides his sandwich in his desk. It’s gone!
On Wednesday, Tom puts his sandwich in a plastic bag. Gone again!
Tom is angry. “Who is taking my sandwich?” he asks.
His coworker, Ana, points to Whiskers. Whiskers is sitting on the printer… eating a sandwich!
On Thursday, Tom has a plan. He makes two sandwiches: one for him, and one for Whiskers.
Whiskers eats his sandwich happily. Tom eats his sandwich peacefully.
On Friday, Whiskers waits by Tom’s desk at 12 p.m.
Tom gives Whiskers a sandwich. Whiskers paws it back!
“Meow,” says Whiskers. “Today, I want pizza.”
Tom sighs. “Okay, Whiskers. But you’re paying!”
