How to Do This Exercise

Read both sets of instructions before you begin.

Instructions in English

  1. Click ▶ Speak to hear the Spanish sentence read aloud.
  2. Listen carefully — click Replay as many times as you need.
  3. Type the sentence as you heard it — capital letters and punctuation count, but accents, ñ, ü, ¡ and ¿ are NOT required (días = dias, mañana = manana).
  4. Click Check or press Enter to verify your answer.
  5. If stuck, click Hint to reveal one word at a time. Each hint click deducts 1 point from your score.
  6. When the full hint appears, click Copy Sentence to paste it into the answer box.
  7. Click Next to move to the next sentence.
  8. After all 15 sentences, click Finish & Send to submit your results.
  9. Tip: Works best in Google Chrome.

Instrucciones en Español

  1. Haz clic en ▶ Speak para escuchar la oración en español.
  2. Escucha con atención — puedes hacer clic en Replay cuantas veces necesites.
  3. Escribe la oración como la escuchaste — las mayúsculas y la puntuación sí cuentan, pero los acentos, la ñ, la ü, ¡ y ¿ NO son obligatorios (días = dias, mañana = manana).
