Every simple English sentence has three parts: a Subject, a Verb, and often an Object.
En español: Cada oración simple en inglés tiene tres partes: un Sujeto, un Verbo y, generalmente, un Objeto.

The subject is the person or thing that does the action.
It can be a pronoun (I, she, he, we, they) or a noun (the dog, my mom, Carlos).
Examples: I read. · She sings. · The dog runs.
En español: El sujeto nos dice QUIÉN hace la acción. Puede ser un pronombre (yo, ella, él) o un sustantivo (el perro, mi mamá, Carlos).
The verb is the action word. It tells us what the subject does.
Common simple verbs: eat, drink, play, read, like, have, see, run, go, sleep.
Examples: She eats lunch. · He plays soccer. · We drink water.
En español: El verbo nos dice QUÉ PASA o qué hace el sujeto. Es la "palabra de acción".
The object receives the action. It comes after the verb.
Examples: She eats an apple. · He reads a book. · We like soccer.
The object can be a thing, an animal, or a person.
En español: El objeto recibe la acción. Viene después del verbo. Puede ser una cosa, un animal o una persona.
In English, the word order is always: Subject → Verb → Object.

❌ Cats I like. (wrong · incorrecto)
