2 — Present Simple: Form

How to conjugate in Present Simple / Presente Simple

⚠ Third Person -s Rule / Regla de tercera persona He, She, It → always add -s or -es to the verb.
He works. She eats. He does. She goes. He has.
Él trabaja. Ella come. Él hace. Ella va. Él tiene.

3 — Negative Form / Forma Negativa

do not / does not + base verb

He / She / It	doesn't + verb	She doesn't work here.	Ella no trabaja aquí.

⚠ Watch Out / Cuidado After doesn't, the main verb goes back to base form — no -s.
✗ She doesn't works. → ✓ She doesn't work.
Ella no trabaja. (NO "Ella no trabaja-s")

4 — Question Form / Forma Interrogativa

Do / Does + subject + base verb?

Short answers: Yes, I do. / No, I don't. / Yes, she does. / No, she doesn't.

5 — Irregular Verbs / Verbos Irregulares

Special forms you must memorize

My name is Luis. I live in a small town. Every morning I get up early. I drink coffee and eat breakfast with my family. My mother makes the food. She is a very good cook.

After breakfast, I go to school. I take the bus because my school is far. At school, I see my friends. We like to play soccer at lunch. My teacher says we work very hard.

In the afternoon, I come home and do my homework. I think English is fun. I want to know many new words. My father gives me a book every week. I have many books now. I say thank you every time.

Me llamo Luis. Vivo en un pueblo pequeño. Cada mañana me levanto temprano. Tomo café y desayuno con mi familia. Mi mamá prepara la comida. Ella es muy buena cocinera.

Después del desayuno, voy a la escuela. Tomo el autobús porque mi escuela está lejos. En la escuela, veo a mis amigos. Nos gusta jugar fútbol a la hora del almuerzo. Mi maestra dice que trabajamos muy duro.
