Welcome to CUU English/Spanish Language Center, where our Curriculum is specifically designed for English-speaking students seeking to learn and enhance their Spanish as a second language. We offer a diverse array of Spanish language courses, ranging from basic to advanced levels, to assist you in developing the skills necessary for effective communication in Spanish, both in academic and professional contexts.


Our Interactive Course Structure (Zoom Class)

At CUU English/Spanish Language Center, we understand the importance of interactive and engaging learning experiences. Therefore, our courses are uniquely designed to combine the flexibility of online learning with the effectiveness of live interaction. Each level of our course is supported by a weekly Zoom meeting, ensuring that our classes go beyond just online reading material.

These weekly Zoom sessions serve as virtual classrooms where students can actively participate, practice their language skills in real-time, and receive immediate feedback and guidance from our experienced instructors. This approach allows for a more personalized and immersive learning experience, similar to traditional in-person classes, but with the convenience of remote access.

By integrating these live sessions into our curriculum, we aim to provide a comprehensive and effective learning journey for all our students, helping them to achieve their Spanish language goals efficiently and enjoyably.

In our Spanish language courses, we concentrate on a variety of skills and topics, covering everyday life capabilities such as social and workplace communication, grammar, Spanish culture, and civic concepts. Additionally, we provide advanced courses that focus on vocabulary development, listening comprehension, writing, and conversation, enabling students to attain a level of fluency and confidence in using Spanish.

MODULO I

MODULO I

Levels 1-3: Beginner

Designed for beginners with no prior experience in Spanish, the course focuses on basic grammar rules, vocabulary, and pronunciation fundamentals. It also covers Latin American culture and civics. Students will gain skills to communicate effectively in social and workplace situations.

MODULO II

MODULO II

Levels 1-3: Low Intermediate

This level covers listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, in addition to life skills, mathematics, civic concepts, and practice with authentic documents. Students will learn to describe past events, make requests, and express opinions on current events.

MODULO III

MODULO III

Levels 1-3: High Intermediate

This level is for high intermediate-level students who want to enhance their vocabulary and spelling. It includes reading, writing, word exercises, and open conversations. Students will learn to use complex sentences and express sophisticated ideas.

MODULO IV

MODULO IV

Levels 1-4: Advanced

This level is for advanced students seeking to improve their speaking and listening skills. Vocabulary and grammar are reviewed before discussion. Students will enhance their fluency and confidence in spoken and written Spanish. Proficiency in conversational Spanish is required.
